Over the weekend, Royal Arctic Line changed the accounting system for the entire company. It’s a big change. The new system went live yesterday, Monday, April 25, 2022. The start-up and use of the new system is so far going as expected and we can receive payments and pay our bills. As it is a new system, there may be some delay in payment issues in the first few days and in the first few weeks, parts of our invoicing may look slightly different.
There are no changes to booking, payment of freight and delivery of goods.
The new accounting system replaces the previous system that was introduced in 2011. In addition to further future-proofing Royal Arctic Line, the new system will also improve Royal Arctic Line’s procurement management and workflows in the accounting department. It is expected that our suppliers will experience a more uniform ordering process, which will also ease the administration of procurement for everyone.
