Following a rerouting of the service, volumes have declined significantly, and a targeted market initiative has not generated the necessary volume to support a continued breakbulk solution.
The final departure with breakbulk cargo will be Dettifoss voyage 604, with a scheduled departure from the Faroe Islands on 30 January 2026.
Customers can still book full containers to and from the Faroe Islands.
