Royal Arctic Line continues to improve and expand the service and opportunities within Royal Arctic Line’s new sailing structure.
We are therefore pleased to announce that the Faroese logistics company, Posta, will be Royal Arctic Line’s new freight agent in the Faroe Islands with facilities in Torshavn. This means that all goods between Greenland and the Faroe Islands will be handled by Posta.
Drop-off and pick-up of general cargo (LCL) will be done at Posta’s facilities in Torshavn.
Gradual start-up and weekly departures
The start-up of the collaboration begins with the most common types of goods (general, refrigerated and frozen goods) and is gradually expanded as experience is gained during the implementation phase. However, it is possible to contact either Royal Arctic Line or Posta if you have special types of goods, such as oversized goods or dangerous goods.
Posta can also offer delivery and collection of full containers (FCL) in the Faroe Islands if you don’t want to take care of it yourself.
Posta will be able to offer pick-up or delivery of groupage and full containers, giving customers the service of delivery to and from an address. Customs clearance and other services will also be an option.
