Royal Arctic Line ships sail in Arctic waters. Sometimes ice, wind and weather prevent ships from following their original sailing schedule.

Delay on Tukuma Arcticas voyage 601
In connection with Tukuma’s shipyard stay, damage was found on the ship’s exhaust.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to get this fixed in time for arrival in Aarhus on Thursday 22/1.
The delay affects the further northbound route and the plan below is therefore preliminary and subject to change. Repair time, arrival in Aarhus and Reykjavik, wind and weather may still affect the schedule.
Preliminary ETAs are:
Aarhus: Sunday 25/1
Reykjavik: Wednesday 28/1
Nuuk: during Sunday the 1/2
There will be updates when we know more about the sailing schedule.

Qaqortoq port will open later on Monday 24/11
The Port of Qaqortoq is not expected to open until 12:00 on Monday, November 24, 2025, due to the storm.
Subject to change.
Qaqortoq: The warehouse is partially closed on Thursday the 20/11
We would like to inform you that pick-up of general cargo (except for refrigerated and frozen goods) at the warehouse in Qaqortoq is partially closed today, November 20, 2025
However, it will still be possible to drop off general cargo at the warehouse.
Container pick-up and drop-off will continue as normal.
Sailing schedule changed for Nanoq Arctica voyage 543
Due to a late arrival from the previous voyage, Nanoq Arctica voyage 543 has been changed.
Sailing schedule changed for Malik Arctica voyage 541
Due to bad weather, Malik Arctica voyage 541 has been changed.
Due to strong winds, it was not possible for Malik Arctica 541 to call at Paamiut for the northbound.
The ship continues its voyage towards Nuuk.
The goods will be moved to the next voyage 543, where Nanoq Arctica will call at the Paamiut.
Sailing schedule changed for Dettifoss voyage 543
Due to bad weather, Dettifoss voyage 543 has been changed.
Nuuk: Gate and terminal closed
Due to expected strong winds, the gate will be closed on Tuesday, October 7.
Container pick-up and drop-off is therefore not possible.
Drop-off for Tukuma voyage 541 is moved to Wednesday, October 8 at 12.00.
The warehouse is open as usual for general cargo.
Temporary relocation and reduced opening hours in Narsaq
Due to water damage and electrical issues, Royal Arctic Line in Narsaq has temporarily moved to Neqi A/S’ premises at Aalisartut aqqutaat B 1053.
Here you can contact the port manager, cargo manager and assistant during opening hours Monday-Friday 09.00-15.00.
All phone lines and payment options work as normal.
The warehouse and warehouse at Saqqannguaq B 1035 is currently only used to a limited extent and the opening hours are temporarily reduced to 09.00-12.00.

Temporary closure in Narsaq
Due to water damage and electrical issues, the port, warehouse and freight office in Narsaq will be temporarily closed from tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
- The service level will be limited during the period
- Temporary office facilities are being clarified

Sailing schedule changed for Siuana Arctica voyage 528
Due to repairs to the main engine, Siuana Arctica voyage 528 has been modified. The ship will be temporarily laid up in Aasiaat and the repairs are expected to be completed in week 35, after which the ship will resume sailing.
