Mandatory information when creating a new Royal Arctic Line customer number

Royal Arctic Line is working towards more sustainable initiatives and trying to reduce paper consumption. Therefore, in the future it will be mandatory to provide email and phone or mobile number when booking.

This allows Royal Arctic Line to send booking confirmations/waybills/invoices via email and contact customers by phone to notify them of cleared goods.

In addition to Name/Company name address, private customers will be asked for date of birth / companies will be asked for CVR number / public customers will be asked for GLN/EAN number, to ensure correct customer, company and department.

Royal Arctic Line experiences that we have many customers that we cannot get in touch with because their customer information is outdated and this results in several letters being sent in vain to the wrong addresses. There is also a long response time for the letters and ends up with long waiting times for goods, which are also charged warehouse rent per letter, which ultimately ends with reminders sent by letter. A lot of paper that can be saved, faster response times and higher customer satisfaction.
