The authorities in Denmark have tightened the requirements for handling dangerous goods, IMDG class 1 explosives, at the Port of Aarhus.
Therefore, from July 1, 2023, there will be changes for booking and drop-off for the above-mentioned goods, which must be packed and handled immediately.
The booking deadline will be Tuesday at 14:00 for departure on Friday of the same week.
In the future, drop-off will be on Thursdays between 06:00 and 14:00 at Eimskip Pakhus in Aarhus.
Dangerous goods IMDG that are currently booked and handed in together with the above types of goods must therefore be booked separately. This way, class 1 can be sorted out and handled immediately.
Booking deadline for other IMDG is adjusted from Thursday afternoon at 16:00 to Thursday morning at 08:00.
