Royal Arctic Line A/S is pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement with a new partner for handling general cargo in Aarhus. From July 1, Eimskip will handle the delivery and collection of general cargo to and from Greenland on voyage 224 with Bruarfoss.
There will be a continuous transition where the freight types cars, boats and OOG already start on journey 218 with Bruarfoss.
Drop-off will be from May 12th to May 17th at 12:00 noon, with shipping on May 20th. All southbound LCLs and MCs will also be unloaded in Aarhus from ship 218. The remaining types of goods will be moved on an ongoing basis for collection and delivery on July 1.
Eimskip has extensive experience in the North Atlantic, packing goods to the Faroe Islands and Iceland. Likewise, Eimskip is a natural choice for Royal Arctic Line A/S, where we already have a well-functioning operational collaboration with VSA co-sailing.
From July 1, freight can be booked and handed in closer to the departure date. This results in a shorter transit time, from delivery to delivery, of up to 13 days for goods from Denmark to Greenland.
Eimskip’s warehouse is located at Aarhus harbor and goods must be delivered at their warehouse.
