Arctic Umiaq Line’s board of directors and Jens Jakob Sandgreen have by mutual agreement chosen to end the collaboration.
Jens Jakob Sandgreen was appointed CEO of Arctic Umiaq Line on September 15, 2022. During his time as CEO, Jens Jakob Sandgreen has spearheaded the development of the products that the company currently offers with the vessel Sarfaq Ittuk. Jens Jakob Sandgreen has also ensured that there are now a number of scenario descriptions that will be the starting point for considering the company’s future operations. The Board would like to thank Jens Jakob Sandgreen for his contribution to the company and wishes him all the best for the future.
Anders Bay Larsen, Director of Ship Operations at Royal Arctic Line, will be acting Director of the company until a new CEO of Arctic Umiaq Line is appointed.
The board is now initiating a recruitment process to hire a new CEO.
